You must use the free Song Meter Configurator mobile app to program the recorder’s schedule and settings, set the clock, update the firmware, or check the remaining battery life or SD card space. During the deployment you can use the app to check the Micro 2's status from up to 20 meters away.
Without a phone or tablet connected via Bluetooth, the Micro 2 can display very basic information about the state of its SD card and whether it is able to run its recording schedule.
