Scout Guard Surveillance Cameras

The Scout Guard SG550 is an impressive and capable trail camera, bringing together a suite of desirable features into a compact package, at a very cost effective price. Shutter response is around 1.2 seconds day or night, while shutter recovery time is a low 5 seconds. These specs are far superior to many larger and more expensive trail cameras.

Quality 5mp colour daytime/night IR monochrome stills, or short video are offered. Illumination is by IR LED no-flash technology. Sensing (to 10 metres) is via an internal PIR sensor.

Battery life is truly impressive, enabling several months’ operation on a single set of AA batteries.

An optional 9cm (3.5”) viewing screen can be supplied with the SG550, enabling quick confirmation of image composition and positioning. Alternatively, we can supply the Scout Guard SG550V. With this model, the remote control doubles as a small picture viewing screen.
